Arriving in Szeged was not a smooth task. We had several issues ranging from flight times to Taxi drivers not knowing what we were talking about. But, we still made it!
We had the first ever Augusta Drupal Users Group meeting. We had a decent turn out of around 7 people.
We talked about where we should eventually hold the meetings, without resolution so this is still on the table, and what we should cover next meeting in September. David Windham has offered to make the Augusta Drupal Users Group a logo so we all look forward to that. Everyone has agreed to pass out fliers to the Colleges around and possibly the High Schools around town I will post shortly a flier that can be download and printed for this.(If you have any desire to do the design work let me know by contacting Jonathan DeLaigle).
If you have any suggestions or interested in presenting please contact Jonathan DeLaigle.
The AugDug - Augusta Drupal Users Group is now well on it's way.
We hope to have people from all over the CSRA join us for a soon to be announced meeting. I would love to hear suggestions as to where to hold AugDug meetings. I would also like to have a general idea what type of Drupal users we have in the if you would like the Augusta Drupal Users Group to know who you are please let us know.
So please join the Augusta Drupal Users Group and lets get together and share our experiences and knowledge of what can be done with it.
Guess spelling was not a "must learn" kind of things either.
Well as of the 23rd of August I will be off to Szeged, Hungary for the Drupalcon w00t. This will be my very fist time of actually leaving the country and what better way then to mingle with the Drupal community! This is going to be one of the best trips ever and I wish I did not have to wait another two weeks to enjoy it :(. I just kind of wished that all of the spots can be taken up the registration is currently sitting at 455 maybe we can get another 500 by the two weeks. Cross your fingers!
This is one of my most favorite videos on the net and I think that a lot of other people would enjoy it as well.
